Google Cloud is Better Than AWS and Azure: My Bull Case (Issue #43)
Welcome to the first edition of 2023! This is a bit newsletter. Let’s get right into it!
Having used all Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS I can now comment on each service’s advantages and more importantly which one is the best. The simple answer is Google Cloud is the best by far, but let’s get a little more into it. First off, Google Cloud is way more straightforward and simple to use. You don’t need to create a new profile because you can connect it straight to your existing Google profile. Their user interface (UI) is many times easier to navigate than AWS or Azure. On top of all this, Google can easily be connected to Google Sheets, Docs, and more. Personally, I would say AWS is the worst of the options because it has the worst UI and it is far more difficult to set up accounts and get your cloud up and running. Azure and Google Cloud are the easiest and fastest to get up and running. Google Cloud’s revenue trails far behind AWS and Azure, but it is growing fast. Google’s portfolio offerings are increasing rapidly. Further Google Cloud is being designed to be inherently more secure as a platform compared to the other two. Once it has the same scope of offerings as AWS and Azure Google Cloud will be even more of a force to be reconned with. And with large investments into cloud that don’t seem to be stopping any time Google should be a leader in the industry in no time.
